Annual Park Events
Cancelled for 2021! We will try to hold the Brunch in 2022.
With the ongoing threat of the Corona virus, and in keeping with the recommendations for group gatherings, your Board of Directors of Clear Lake State Park Interpretive Association has made the decision to err on the side of caution, and cancel the Wildflower Brunch, annually held the last Saturday in April.
We wanted to get the word out before we applied for the necessary permits, began our advertising campaign, and had tickets purchased online.
We regret any inconvenience this may have caused our friends and patrons who have supported us since 1996. Mark your calendars for the last Saturday in April 2021. We will be back, better than ever. Until then, be safe and be cautious.

The Clear Lake State Park Interpretive Association (CLSPIA) has presented a spring Wildflower Brunch since 1996. This event, which features delicious fill-your-own omelets -- 12 fillings to choose from -- accompanied by pastries, fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee, also includes specific nature-related activities in the park. The breakfast is held annually in April.
During the day, CLSPIA members give presentations in the auditorium, and lead tours of Visitor Center exhibits.
There is a fee (see below -- or call 279-4395; tickets are $20.00) for the breakfast, and proceeds from the event stay in the park to further environmental education, primarily the Interpretive Association's educational programs. Special Kids' breakfasts of two pancakes, fruit, pastry and juice will
be available for 10 dollars. Kids' tickets to be purchased at the breakfast.

This fun, family-oriented day features exhibits during the Brunch. The park Visitor Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visit the museum and shop for nature-related items in the gift shop.
No other event showcases the natural beauty of Clear Lake State Park so well. Last year's attendance was over 200, with many visiting our area for the first time. It's a great time to enjoy the outdoors with your family and to learn about who and what lives in our wonderful park.
